Course 1 Mo-Yoen's happy house

Do you remember the scene that Shi-Jin who just came back from Afghanistan was waiting for Mo-Yeon in front of the hospital in the 2nd episode of <Descendents of the Sun>? Shi-Jin planned to have a decent dining with her but Mo-Yeon brought him to her house with excuse of washing her hair. Their first date started with express foods they ordered at home. The calm and decent looking officetel is actually a showroom of a furniture store 'Bplusm' in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu. Bplusm, remodelled from an old  30-pyung size house displays eco-friendly wooden furnitures. The dining area seen in the drama was replaced by some beds but the heart warming mood of the drama is still there.

Course 2 ‘Breathtaking’ first date

CGV Hongdae

CGV Hongdae is the movie theatre where Mo-Yeon and Shi-Jin had their very first date.  The 6 hall of the theatre has welcomed increasingly large numbers of visitors since the drama was aired. If you can, try to sit on the seat number 6 and 7 on the 'I row' just like the drama couple. You would recall the dialogue of Shi-Jin “I`m so excited now as I`m with a beauty." Course 2 is recommended more for a couple than a single for that reason.

Subway Nonhyun Station

It`s the place where Mo-Yeon shouted "I want a Choco-chop cookie set!" and "more jalapeno!". Mo-yeon bought a bundle of sandwich for her colleagues and even enjoyed a date with her lover Shi-Jin at Subway Nonhyun Station. As known, you can choose your favorite bread, fillings, and source in Subway. You`ve got enough from Subway? Try it like Mo-Yeon who ordered a "club sandwich but no onion and much jalapeno". It will be fun for sure!

Course 4 Where love stays

Dalcom Coffee Yangjae

Episode 6 of <Descendents of the Sun> highlights the blooming love between Seo Dae-Young and Yoon Myung-Joo. Dae-Young takes a selfie pouting for Myung-Joo who stands out of the windows. The two creates a romantic mood as if they are kissing across the windows. The steamy date scene of so called 'Gu-Won couple' was taken at  Dalcom Coffee Yangjae. You`ll see posters of 'Descendents of the Sun' on the cafe's walls. It is not that difficult to find the note 'Gu-Won couple sat here!' If you are a couple, sit on the lover's seats, be Dae-Young and Myung-Joo, and make a memorable selfie!

Seoul Global Cultural Center located in Myeong-dong provides the 'Descendents of the Sun' photo zone for tourists from every Friday to Sunday at 10am~12pm and 2pm~4pm. Tourists can dress like the hero and heroin of the drama with real military uniforms.
